Managing sites

Team & roles

A site can have multiple collaborators, each with a role that controls what they can do. You manage them in the app under the site's Team area.

Roles

Each person has a role on the site:

  • Owner — full control.
  • Editor — can make and publish changes.
  • Viewer — read-only access.
  • Custom — a specific set of permissions you choose.

Permissions are granular, so a custom role can grant exactly what a collaborator needs — say, editing content but not managing the domain or billing.

Inviting people

You invite collaborators by email; they get an invitation to join the site with the role you assign. You can change someone's role or remove them at any time.

Clients and agencies

This is how you give a client access to their own site — typically as an owner or editor — while keeping sensitive controls scoped appropriately. If you operate as an agency, note that some actions (like managing the domain or deleting a site) are reserved for agency staff and hidden from end-client roles, and billing controls are handled centrally rather than per-site. See Agencies → Teams & roles.
